Are You In, Or Out: North Korea with missiles...
Just a short post on what happened this morning during the Germany versus Italy.
North Korea test-launched 3 missiles, 2 medium range Scud-like and one long-range Taepodong-2, the launch of a fourth missile was being determined.
From CNN.com
"North Korea launched a long-range Taepodong-2 missile early Wednesday in an apparently unsuccessful test that failed in flight, a senior State Department official said.
North Korea also tested at least two smaller missiles, U.S. sources told CNN.
Both missiles were launched from a site other than the one intelligence officials have watched for weeks ahead of the long-range missile test, a senior State Department official said.
The United States, Japan and other countries have warned North Korea against a long-range missile test, saying such a move would be considered a provocation."
Even though the official opinion is that the results which failed indicated that Nort Korea is still a long way from launching a proper ICBM (Intercontinantal Ballistic Missile) I kinda doubt it.
I'm not a pessimist, but it seems that North Korea is practically on the verge of causing some major global chaos in the near future.
Just something to ponder about...
Edit: Italy won. Tough luck for the Germans. Ah well.
