Are You In,Or Out...

Oh yeah...

We were stuck in a pretty decent hotel for about 24 hours. The only uptake to that was that I could sit down and watch the Olympics uninteruptedly although it royally pissed me off that all the good badminton matches were over....

Then the marathon began. Not the Olympic marathon, but the lines at the airport. Because of one single plane clogging up the one runway, all consecutive flights were delayed and when we went to the airport later at night the queues were phenomenally long! Hell it took me just 2 hours to even get my boarding pass!

Anyway I'm back home and enjoying all the food I can eat.....argh putting on massive loads of weight...

Hmmm....going to watch AVP later. Should be interesting, at least.

Dumb crap...

I have entirely lost confidence in MAS.

Guess what? On my final international flight from Bangalore, in what appears to be amazing pilot error, the plane, taxied off the runway, and got its front wheels sunken halfway stuck in the mud.

Yup. That really happened. And with yours truly sitting in seat 33 something oblivious to all this crap. Apparently when the plane was taxiing on towards the runway, the freaking pilot started accelerating too damn early when he was still facing the side of the runway. Freaking hell...

Then, with the usual rigmarole of doing things the hard way, we had to wait freaking ages in the plane until we were allowed to evacuate to the terminal. Then, we waited for another 3 hours before they finally decided that they couldn't dig out the damn plane in the next few hours so they took us for to a hotel to spend the rest of the day....keep in mind my flight was scheduled at 0050 in the morning and I reached the hotel at 5.30am.

The only good shit that happened was that the hotel was not half bad. Heck I even took the bedroom slippers home while Farah took the hotel stationery....

Leaving the wasteland tomorrow. Just finished my viva. Somehow I gotta get rid of all this crap still left in my room. Wonder if I can make any money....

You know, after all that hype about our Malaysian badminton players bringing back their first Olympian gold medal.....what can I say? Everytime there is a big hoo haa about these sort of thing we always lose...

Serious!If there is any hardly any mention of any tournament in the papers, next thing you know, "So and so" just won the tournament. Then all the hype begins again only to watch them fail the next tournament...

The only upside I noticed this time were our female players, which actually qualified on merit this time. Even when they lost to the 3rd seeded Chinese pair, I think if they keep this up they can really perform much better next time round...

Sigh..

BUT...

When I was just browsing through a couple of blogs(Actually it was quite alot) I realised that almost everyone made an entry about the now infamous "sex-romp" in a Kancil.

Is it because it just happens to be a conincidence that most people are plainly captivated by the act? Or is it that most people have those *deep subconcious desires* to perform such an act, akin to joining the "Mile High" club? I think Freud wrote about something like that...

Still, I must admit that copulating in a Kancil is quite a feat, considering its about the size of my cupboard....

Argh.

Sat for my Pathology paper today. Did my best. Hope to scrape through. Damn. Wrote wrongly about bronchiectasis......

Its a wierd feeling...After cramming and slogging through the last 2 and a half years and cramming whatever crap into your head, it all boils down to a 3 hour written paper.

If you actually think about it, basically your future depends on what you know within that 3 hour period, regardless of the umpteen numbers of hours you had spent studying beforehand.

Yeah, I know it sounds obvious, but what the examination system is trying to prove is how much you actually can mug and not how much you actually understand any of that crap. Oh they can have viva voce etc but there really isn't a way to display what exactly you had learned.

Ok. Just rambled without actually realising what I just blogged.

Anyway, hopefully someday someone can figure out a better way to *evaluate* students at what they actually do (Note the word "test" wasn't used)

I have to cram for Microbiology now...

I really shouldn't be blogging at this time, as my finals is in less then 2 days, but I'm stuck in a rut....

As many people are sitting for this university finals paper, most people head to the library for some peace and quiet to concentrate. I mean, thats what libraries are for.

But yesterday, this ass-wipe of a bastard apparently didn't give a shit about other people and decided to walk around the library with his keys AND keychain bells hanging out of his pocket. Shit, the tension was already high enough but luckily enough the librarian told him to get out or else someone would have just murdered him there and then...

Darn its so tense you can just walk on it.....

Oh well, wish me luck...
